Enjoying the weather, and life

It has felt more like April than January lately.....whoops, FEBRUARY. Lovin' it.

So...my last post I was a bit melancholy, and looking on the negative side of things. I feel so much better. Thank you for all your support. I just haven't felt like myself for the past few weeks...but now I feel like I'm back and better than ever. I forgot how to enjoy the life that I have. Instead, I had been thinking about the life I didn't have. My life is wonderful, and fabulous, and full of love. I just needed to remember that. I may not have a career, technically, but I do have a career in being a great mom, wife and person. I recently signed up for a parenting class. I'm SOOOO excited because it's a class specifically for raising 1 year olds.

Also, I'm sorry if my last post offended anyone. I could see how it could have made other people feel bad, and I'm sorry if it did.

So, here are some pics of our little adventure yesterday. We had this park all to ourselves. It was warm and dry enough to really enjoy.

This is one of the first times he had gone down a slide by himself. He was so proud that he clapped for himself.

I found a fun feature on my camera, so I was able to get this action shot of Trigger. It cracks me up. He loves to jump and bound.
My artsy photo. I'm really enjoying photography because it's something I can do WITH Jet. I can take pics of him, I can take walks with him while taking photos of what we come across. It allows us to both be engaged in something. Ever notice that a swing is shaped like a smile? Gol, that's corny.
Then I went and talked to this charming donkey. He was most friendly, and then all his pals started traipsing over to say hi too. They were all so fuzzy and poofy. Goodness, they made me so cheery. I still have a childlike love for seeing animals.

We all had a ball, including the dogs, who found a creek to go swimming in. They got baths later.

Hey I don't know you're email address..sooo I will just respond here! Anyway- Lyme Disease. I am SO SORRY to hear that your sister has been diagnosed! When you say they caught it early enough, I just wonder how they know? What tests were done? By what kind of doctor? Did she have a bulls eye rash? The point is- if she DID catch it quick, then yes- a round of antibiotics will do the trick. But if it's been in her system for a while...it will take more than that. I hope hope HOPE for her sake that she really did catch it super quick and it will all be over within a month or so. If I were you, I would tell her that if she feels any different after she's been treated and cured or whatever...as in...if she feels symptoms she never felt before she contracted it- to get tested again...or talk to another doctor, or just you know...do something. I only say this if she doesn't KNOW that she caught it quick. I mean, did she get bit by a tick and found it? Cause I mean- thats definitely quick. Anyway...just make sure she understands the risks if it isn't treated properly- and tell her to be mindful of her body and how it feels and stuff...cause if she starts feeling wierdo symptoms...she may have not caught it as quickly as she thought. Oh deary me! I could ramble a lot about this I just get nervous for people. Good luck and let me know if I can help in any way with info or comfort or anything! I hope it's just a quick fix and she doesn't have to deal with anything more!

Jessica- in response to offending anyone- ha. I think on blogs you should be allowed to say whatever you want. it's like "while you're under my roof, you will listen to me!" It's YOUR blog and you can write whatever you want. AND- you're nto putting anyone down, you're just talking about your feelings. I LOVE staying home, and I can't wait to be a mom, and I didn't find your blog offensive at all. I know that there are alot of people who get a little ansy at home, and who just really have that drive for a career. You are not weird, or un-righteous or bad or ccrazy! You are wonderful. And we all have our bad spells. I have been going through one myself!- No motivation to do anything productive. Love the swing pic- and yes- lets hang out on Monday- why don't you come by lunch time and that way i can make us lunch. Did you wantt o sew? or just talk? or shop? I just looked at all the thrift stores-so I'm kind of thrifted out. and depressed that I don't have a house to put all teh cool furniture I find in! let me know- love you-

Jessica, you are awesome. You have so much energy that I can see why you might have a little "cabin fever" sometimes. Raising children isn't always the most stimulating job in the world but it is the most important one for sure. You're doing an awesome job at it. You are also an amazing writer. I always look forward to reading your blog. You are funny and you write well. You might consider a career in that direction? Something you can do from home... I love how the swing looks like a smile. Love it! Thanks.
